Spain's FCC sees 289 mln euro hit from Alpine insolvency

MADRID, June 19 (Reuters) - Spanish construction group FCC said on Wednesday it could take a 289-million-euro ($387.04 million) hit after tax on its earnings this year from the insolvency of Austrian unit Alpine.

ATHENS, June 19 (Reuters) - Canadian investment firm Fairfax Financial Holdings will raise its stake in Greek real estate firm Eurobank Properties to 42 from a current 19 percent, parent Eurobank said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
